Job overview and context

Royal Canin has a centralized formulation model allowing a unique nutritional profile around the world for the global wet & dry product portfolio. A recipe is the synthesis of Royal Canin knowledge in term of science, raws, process and nutrition.

Formula Portfolio Continuous Improvement position has the accountability of Raws and Finished Products nutritional precision. He/she monitors and drives continuous improvement action plans with Factories, Commercial (Supplier Quality Assurance) and Laboratories.

He/she is also in charge of continuous improvement of tools and ensure formulation matrix consistency and update.

Key responsibilities

·  Be responsible for raws and finished products monitoring:

- To define and apply sampling plan and Nutritional Precision Mars Standard (MPENS)

- To collect and analyze analysis results

- To define and drive action plans with Supplier Quality Assurance team on raws

- To contribute with Commercial and Formula Portfolio Coordinators to develop new raw’s suppliers to sustain the business

- To compile Key Performance Indicators

·  Supports Formula Portfolio Coodinators on customer complaints investigations
·  Be the key user of Formulation tools
·  Be responsible of data base management
·  Be the main or single point of contact with interfaces such as Laboratory, commercial and Quality & Food Safety teams

Profile

1. Education & Professional Qualification

Graduated MSc as scientist in food/feed/nutrition/chemistry or veterinarian specialized in nutrition

2. Knowledge/Experience

Ability to work with remote people. High learning agility (people, results, mental). Should have the people agility to work and enroll interfaces (commercial, supply, manufacturing, R&D, Marketing).

Collaborative spirit

Good level and experience in conflict management and influencing

3 years in an R&D job as project manager or doing functional/non hierarchical management.

Experience in feed company is an advantage
