WHAT YOU’LL DO

This Project Manager role is responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units for MGS SFC functions. Manage resources, schedules, and financials and adhere to stage gate quality through the full system development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The Project Manager has the authority to run the program on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case.

This role partners with stakeholders across all Mars Business Segments, Functions and within Mars Digital Technologies to deliver complex global projects. The focus is on delivery management and escalation, where the role will be expected to embrace Mars’ new digital methods and tools such as Agile, Design Thinking, DevOps and drive the Mars “Zero Distance to the Customer” agenda.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

·  Responsible for managing multiple deployments of the global Source to Pay strategy (Keystone)
·  Manage all aspects to multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
·  Full project life cycle ownership successful project delivery will include full implementation from kick off to deployment for one major or several initiatives simultaneously
·  Ensure that project(s) and program is proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
·  Proactively manage change control and communicate impact in project scope, identify issues and devising contingency plans
·  Create status reports ensuring appropriate and effective senior leadership level communication
·  Utilizes the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, and financial

Context and Scope:

·  Provide leadership by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
·  Work with the global Mars Digital community to ensure resources are secured for global program
·  Identify opportunities to streamline deployments, share best practices with your peers and leaders and implement continue improvement actions on a regular basis
·  Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
·  Explore new technology trends and apply in appropriate scenarios to deliver value to team, customer and Organization

How You’ll Work:

·  Remote teams with a global geographical scope
·  Coordination and communication with multiple Mars DT internal teams, in the same Division or in other Mars DT Divisions.

WHO YOU ARE

Your Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
·  Project management certification (preferred)
·  Significant IT experience

Your Knowledge/Experience:

·  IT Project Deployment experience (as a project manager)
·  Experience in full lifecycle utilizing Agile Project Management (preferred)
·  Strong stakeholder management skills are essential
·  Experience of supporting business change, testing and communication
·  Understanding of Design Thinking
