Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. Club Mina is home to the follow facilities:

Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

· Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service
·
Responsible to supervise the water sport facilities and activities and ensure that all water sport activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner

·
Instruction of all water sport activities.

·
To be responsible for the safety and well-being of all Hotel guests and Club members using the water sports facilities

·
Ensure all equipment are clean and properly maintained and all safety rules are enforced

·
Actively promote water sport activities in order to increase revenue

·
Ensure all motorized and non motorized equipment are regularly maintained and kept in good working order

·
Attend daily briefing with Recreation Manager / Assistant Recreation Manager

·
Completely understand and enforce water sports rules and regulations

·
Ensure to follow all safety measures and weather permits prior to proceed with any activities

·
Ensure guest expectations are exceeded at all times whilst displaying a helpful & cheerful attitude

·
Providing help & assistance to guests while maintaining a professional appearance at all times

·
Assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions & themed evenings within the Swimming pools & Beach area

·
Report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of guest safety at all times

·
To be aware and to implement all relevant aspects of Health and Safety legislation and company procedures

·
Attend compulsory courses / weekly trainings internal and external which are deemed essential by the management.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

To move into this position you should have

·  Minimum two-year experience as a boat captain, driver in the reputed hotel or beach resort or similar field
·  Holding a RYA or STCW qualification or similar qualification is an advantage
·  Ability to deliver motorized or non-motorized watersports sessions.
·  Competent swimmer
·  Good communication in English language is a must
·  Outdoor work and fit to work on shifts basis
·  Fun, friendly & enthusiastic approach to customer service.
·  Willingness to learn & develop
·  Qualified in Basic First aid

Others

·  Performs other duties and/or related tasks as assigned by the leader or hotel management to meet business needs.
·  Carries responsibility for ensuring that all cash and key security procedures are adhered at all times as per the hotel/s policy
·  Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited, Marriott EMEA continent and Hotel/s policies, procedures and job aids
·  Complies with working hours as required but normally not less than 54 hours per week
