JOB SUMMARY

This role specialises in Talent Acquisition (recruitment, selection processes, workforce planning, recruitment database, recruitment campaigns, hotel school/university presentations & graduate recruitment, career fairs, recruitment advertising, social media recruitment) and supports selection activities for hotels that form part of the group within the region.

The incumbent will be required to follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

· 
Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major.

· 
Previous working experience within a recruitment agency is preferred.

·  No supervisory experience is required.
· 
Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

· 
Must have excellent spoken and written business English language comprehension and accurate typing with excellent spelling and grammar.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

The key responsibilities of this role include:

· 
Posting and monitoring of vacancies on the company recruitment system

· 
Tracking and screening applications

· 
Conducting phone screens

· 
Providing shortlists to be interviewed

· 
Following up and monitoring that interviews have been arranged and conducted

· 
Following up on interviews to establish outcomes

· 
Manage applicant responses

· 
Facilitate reference and background checks

· 
Ensure recruitment documentation is completed and shared with the relevant stakeholders i.e. Candidates, Compensation & Benefits, hotel HR etc.

· 
Implement recruitment strategies in line with EE and B-BBEE requirements.

· 
Support the execution of a recruitment strategy plan, to include Relationship Recruitment, Online Job Boards, Search Agencies, University / School / College Recruiting etc.

· 
Supports ongoing recruitment related systems training and education to the field to meet growth objectives.

· 
Handles routine and special reporting projects and requests, which could include presentations, monthly reports, budget schedules, accumulating data / information from team/department, when needed. This work may include data entry and/or basic analysis and developing databases or spreadsheets.

· 
Answers departmental telephone line(s); provides callers with responses to all types of requests, both routine and those requiring research and follow up; directs calls to the appropriate person or takes messages. Develops alternatives to handle requests when many times the problems are not clearly identified or involve sensitive issues. Routinely responds back directly to the caller after performing research or follow up.
