This is a temporary position.

In the Americas, FLS has a unique internal program that inspects all managed hotels and properties. The team of fire inspectors conducts routine inspections and testing of fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems, emergency power, means of egress, storage and housekeeping and system maintenance procedures. As a member of Marriott Fire Protection & Life Safety, this position is responsible for providing accounting support primarily focused on the Annual Inspections program but, may support the Renovations & PIP program in the future. This position will develop knowledge and skills in financial aspects of Fire Protection & Life Safety to support team, departmental and enterprise-wide business objectives. The staff accountant can expect to learn all finance related aspects of Fire Protection & Life Safety and business interactions with Risk Management Risk Finance. The staff accountant reports to the Director – Americas, Inspections, PIPs & Renovations, and is responsible for the monthly billing, vendor invoice reviews and payments, and overall accounting for the inspections program.
