POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Trainee reports to the Senior Manager Human Resources and works in close collaboration with both, the Senior Manager Human Resources and the Human Resources Manager on a daily basis. The Human Resources Trainee acts as a contact person and assists in handling all inquiries (phone, e-mail and in person) to the Human Resources department according to Marriott standards.

The Human Resources Trainee provides support / is responsible for

Location requirements: The Human Resources Trainee is to be located at the Europe Office Eschborn

·
Language Requirements: High proficiency (speaking, reading and writing) in English is required.

·
Travel Requirements: There is no regular business travel required.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

Human Resources Leadership

Associate Relations

·
Assists with regular communication of all Associate Benefits within the office.

·
Assists with updating the notice boards in the office.

·
Assists with the organization of any associate events.

Human Resources

·
Assists with administration of personnel files according to the requirements of the HR review

·
Assists with general HR administration

·
Assists with any process administration and the collation of data for relevant reports.

·
Assists where necessary, with PeopleSoft data maintenance and tracking.

·
Prepares documents using Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications.

·
Files and forward traces a variety of documents, appointments etc.

·
Updates and distributes relevant information databases as required

·
Maintains, collates and distributes all relevant activity reports.

·
Coordinates and handles all related memberships and incentive enrolments and ensures they are current.

·
Talent Management

·
Assists with training administration (establish quarterly training plan as per instructions, enrolments, follow ups, updating of personnel file and other databases)

·
Assists with the organization of internal trainings

·
Other

·
Performs other related tasks as assigned by management.

· Complies with Marriott Hotel Holding GmbH & Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

CANDIDATE PROFILE - KEY TALENTS AND EXPERIENCE DESIRED

REQUIRED :

· 
Previous work experience preferred

PREFERRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

· 
Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

· 
Previous user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint- Essential

· 
Previous user of Outlook- Preferred

· 
Strong attention to detail and accuracy of spelling and grammar, layout and content formation essential.

· 
Highly organized and efficient approach required

· 
Ability to manage varying needs and prioritizing to ensure best business results

· 
Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner

Education and Professional Certification:

· 
A level or equivalent education standard required; degree education preferred

· 
Demonstrated pursuit of career in Hospitality and/or HR preferred

· 
Coverage of HR Management as part of the degree desirable
