We are now hiring for an Operations Supervisor to help oversee the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments at the Courtyard by Marriott in Kirkland, WA! If you have prior hotel front desk experience and are looking for the next step to grow a career in hospitality this is the perfect position for you!

Job Overview:
Some of our guests love being on the road but many travelers miss the comforts of home. The goal of our Operations team is to make our hotel feel like just that, a home! As an Operations Supervisor your ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and lead by example will help the hotel run smoothly to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and memorable stay.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will:
- Assist with training, coaching, scheduling and mentoring the front office and housekeeping teams.
-Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously during all shifts.
-Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
- Handle continuous requests in a fast paced environment by coordinating with other departments to ensure all guest requests are met.
- Ensure all front desk checklists and programs are followed and review daily work to confirm it is error-free.
- Open and/or close housekeeping each day, reporting room status to the front desk.
- Assist with laundry operations, inventory, ordering and lost & found.
- Inspect multiple rooms each day to ensure brand standards are being met.
- Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. Previous hotel front desk experience is preferred. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
