Qualifications :

Department

Engineering is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the building structure, mechanical and electrical services, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fixtures, fittings and equipment of the hotel.

Job Description


·  Assist the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineer in managing day-to-day maintenance requirements
·  Complete daily plant inspections
·  General Handyperson duties, including minor carpentry, plumbing and HVAC
·  Attend to guest requests for maintenance repairs.
·  On completion of daily rounds sign off any relevant section of maintenance manuals

Requirements:


·  Previous experience working in a hotel maintenance department
·  Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills
·  Demonstrate sound decision making capability with the ability to work autonomously
·  Available to work a 7-day rotating roster
