Ø Possess a good command of English

Ø An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills

Ø Good knowledge or experience of the hospitality industry

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES

Ø Previous experience in Waiter/waitressing

Ø Previous experience using booking systems

Ø Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling

Ø Passion for the hospitality industry

Ø Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure

Ø Previous brand experience or knowledge

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This role has responsibilities, which include but are not limited to;

The Supervisor is fully responsible for the day-to-day operation of the outlet.

·  Represent and be the face of the hotel/bar to all guests
·  Opening and closing of the bar according to opening and closing procedures and timings
·  Ensuring all talent are fully briefed at the beginning of their shift (AM & PM)
·  Checking DM logs, Handovers and What's Up sheets daily to identify VIPs and service opportunities
·  Ensuring that the bar and tables are set up according to standards
·  Ensuring that all talent are groomed to standards , including W pin
·  Making sure that Brand and Service standards are followed at all times
·  Setting Up any events for the day/ evening according to Event Orders
·  Making sure that all talent has been set on breaks during their shift
·  Deal with customer complaints and/or escalate to management if needed
·  Prepare Rota and include events & service schedule , making sure shifts are accordingly staffed
·  Conduct weekly bigger briefings for talent ( 1hour)
·  B&F Newsletter to be sent out weekly by SV completing Rota.
·  Putting through requisitions in a timely manner and according to business needs
·  Attend weekly Ops Meetings with Management
·  Attend Weekly GSS Meeting
·  Conduct HPPs for talent, ensuring they have an ongoing development plan in place
·  Ensuring that all opening and closing tasks have been completed by all talent
·  Concepts - identifying new concepts for B&F with management and creating new menus
·  Flexibility and ability to work both, AM & PM shifts
·  Making sure Fourth comments, absences are updated and that Rota hours are closed on Sunday night
·  Carrying out investigations if needed by HR
·  Identify health hazards and record them accordingly
·  The Supervisor supports the Assistant Bars Manager with day to day tasks and administrative tasks
·  Makes sure that regulations and policies are adhered to
·  Makes sure that team is trained up to date
·  Ensures and monitors talent's performance
