M&S is going through an exciting period of evolvement and change and we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to join our team and play a pivotal role in helping transform our Clothing and Home business.

We are looking for someone super passionate about technology, data and its potential to transform ways of working. A real expert on developing technology-based products. If this has been gained within the Retail industry even better!

In this role you will create a vision and roadmap for your Product that builds our capabilities in areas such as supplier and production planning, critical path, and supplier management. Using Agile methodology you will shape the vision, strategy and future thinking in Sourcing & Supplier Management and become an integral part of our C&H Product Ownership team.

Key responsibilities, amongst others, will include to: -

·  Track industry developments, identifying and applying innovation opportunities and best practice within your products
·  Gain first hand insight and a deep understanding of C&H customers, colleagues, pain points, current tools and processes
·  Maintain a backlog of opportunities, define user stories, features and functionality for your products
·  Align reporting / and BI based solutions with your products to deliver a unified KPIs, user journey and experience
·  Own creation of quarterly plans and bi weekly sprints for your product, participating in C&H Product portfolio governance
·  Provide leadership to cross functional teams, partnering closely with Technology Architects and Engineering
·  Challenge colleagues to minimise complexity and adopt new ways of working and reflect this in your products

To succeed in this role you will have a deep functional expertise in sourcing and supplier management for Clothing. Specific expertise in capacity and production planning, supplier critical path management and supplier KPIs would be advantageous. You will come to the role with the ability to build a vision, roadmap and iterate all the while maintaining alignment with our C&H Transformation goals.

Experience of technology enabled change within an office environment alongside the ability to organise and prioritise work whilst partnering with colleagues from business and technology on delivery are key to this position. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable communicating with both technical and business stakeholders and have proven experience of working both collaboratively and autonomously.
