Our HR Data, Reporting & Insight Team in Salford Quays are looking for an engaging, confident and curious People Analytics Analyst, where you will create actionable insights and support the decision making and implementation across the service and wider HR Teams.

What we are ideally looking for is an experienced People Analytics Analyst, who is able to develop strong working relationships with both technical and non-technical Teams and will be able to translate the needs of the business with ease. This role would really suit someone who enjoys engaging with the senior Leadership Teams, providing thought leadership, guidance and recommendations on analytics.

About the role

Your key accountabilities will include:

·  Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, providing thought leadership, guidance and recommendations on workforce analysis and scenario modelling.
·  Design, implement and improve the suite of people metrics for our senior leaders, which provide insight into organisational health and the overall performance of our people.
·  Utilise your expertise in understanding our people metrics, the levers, interplays and dependencies, to provide the necessary insight and commentary to drive decision making and action plans.
·  Champion insight driven approaches to problem solving and decision making and help to enhance the data and insight culture across the business

About you

Your key skills and experience will include:

·  The ability to tell a story with data, through both compelling narrative and impactful visuals
·  Strong business acumen, articulate, able to influence at senior levels
·  Knowledge of emerging trends and best practice within HR Analytics
·  The ability to take a scientific approach to define, test, and develop solutions
·  An expert with common data tools e.g. Microsoft Excel (VBA, SQL would be an advantage)
·  Experience with modern BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau)
·  Experience with statistical tools and methodology an advantage (R, Python, Machine Learning, Predictive Modelling)
