As a Maintenance Engineer you will carry out reactive, preventative and predictive maintenance on shift related to electrical and mechanical engineering works at Castle Donington (we have 17.5km of conveyor on site as well as 39 cranes (some up to 25m high) to name but a few, so there is a lot of kit to keep you busy).

Your duties will include :

·  Fulfilling of all personal safety requirements according to legislation and regulations;
·  Actively support and contribute to a continuous improvement programme, identifying, evaluating and prioritising opportunities to achieve optimum plant reliability and quality;
·  Striving towards achieving system, engineering and personal KPI’s;
·  Close working and assistance to the Duerkopp and PSB service engineers as well as daily liaison with the site operational leaders to share work plans and requirements;
·  Support for the Engineering Shift Manager, filling in for his duties as required;
·  Coaching and leadership of the Engineering Assistants on shift and providing support for other members of the team
·  Shift log/incidents analysis.

To be successful as an M&S Engineer you must have GCSE/O Level English and maths plus a recognised apprenticeship in an appropriate engineering discipline, minimum ONC/OND level qualification along with engineering experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. We'd like you to be multi-skilled, so need evidence of recognised cross training from Mechanical to Electrical Engineering or vice versa. If you are qualified to IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition, even better!

Our site is constantly evolving and we are always looking to make things better, therefore a passion for continuous improvement is a must.

Finallu, you most definitely need a good head for heights; because as previously stated our cranes are up to 25m tall!

Make every future a success.
