Primary Purpose: A Victoria’s Secret Sales Associate-Certified creates a buying environment where the customer is inspired to buy through supporting and mentoring peers.  The Sales Associate-certified serves the customer as top priority with enthusiasm, urgency and authentic desire to provide all the brand offers. A Victoria’s Secret Sales Associate-certified displays our core values and completes all aspects of the customer experience- selling, cashiering, processing and replenishment and visual execution. Additionally the Sales Associate-certified builds customer loyalty as product and promotion experts. 

Key Responsibilities:

To perform this job effectively Sales Associate-certified must be able to perform all the core responsibilities satisfactorily. Sales Associate-certified must also display the specific areas of responsibilities when assigned to that particular position in the store. 

Core Responsibilities:

·  Understanding and demonstrating Company Values and L Brands Way behaviors.
·  Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment.
·  Shift Preparation- review and maintain awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable ringing procedures.
·  Create customer awareness of programs available to them (e.g. Victoria’s Secret Angel Card (US only), phone and email capture) to build customer loyalty, where applicable.
·  Track team performance to the goals.
·  Be aware of and build personal capability in, asset protection.
·  Takes initiative to understand the business and offers suggestions on how the store can drive sales growth.
·  Assists in training new Sales Associates, serving as shadow partner.
·  Support Sales Leadership Team during Peak Time Frames  (Holiday, SAS) with operational functions and associate engagement (Key Holder status for temporary times).

Bra Mentor Responsibilities:

·  Creates an enthusiasm for Best at Bras strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others’ bra behaviors.
·  Bra Expertise of Victoria’s Secret|PINK bra journey.
·  Spends distorted time working in fitting rooms at Peak Time.
·  Supports in store training of bra programs.
·  Takes ownership of Bra Wardrobe Center Updates and Maintenance.
·  Acts as Bra Launch Lead on the sales floor and in the fitting rooms
·  Participates in bra sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual and team performance towards goal.
·  Shares business results of category sales with associate team as it relates to bra selling

Brand Ambassador Responsibilities:

·  Creates an enthusiasm for serving the customer by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others in our brand processes.
·  Mentors Sales Associates when zoned at Cash Wrap, Processing & Replenishment and Floorset & Maintenance.
·  Supports 1-2 nonpeak CSL segments with SLT support, when applicable.
·  Supports management of associate engagement and communication materials including store manuals, bulletin boards, and break rooms.
·  Offers general administrative and operational support to the Sales Leadership Team

Sales Responsibilities:

·  Drive customer engagement by personally selling to customers.
·  Proactively move with intention towards customers and create a welcoming genuine connection.
·  Make compelling recommendations to serve the customer needs.
·  Listen and connect with the customer about bras by asking effective questions, reading cues and responding, and conducting bra fit measurements, where applicable.
·  Balance multiple customers.

Cash Wrap Responsibilities:

·  Delivers a friendly and efficient cash wrap experience, processing customer and associate transactions accurately and efficiently at the Point of Sale (POS) or Mobile Register.
·  Reinforces customer buying decisions at checkout and encourages purchase of additional items.
·  Recovers cash wrap selling zone and “go-backs”.
·  Builds customer loyalty by opening Victoria’s Secret Angel Cards (US only) and through customer email and phone capture, where applicable.
·  Executes register opening and closing processes accurately, including change orders and preparing deposits.
·  Manages lines and multiple line queues to enhance the customer experience.

Processing and Replenishment Responsibilities:

·  Processes merchandise to be floor ready and maintains back room and under stock to brand standards.
·  Replenishes merchandise to brand standards to ensure product is placed on the sales floor and available for purchase.
·  Assists with other projects as needed including markdowns, re-tickets and the mark out of stock process.

Floorset and Maintenance Responsibilities:

·  Executes floorset proficiently.
·  Understands and adheres to brand visual standards.
·  Assists with maintenance of back room and under stock, including merchandise and non-merchandise, to brand standards to enable efficient replenishment.
·  Maintains the standards for the appearance of the store by completing the daily and monthly cleaning checklists.
·  Completes daily cleaning, dusting or polishing of ceiling vents, diffusers, lights, fixtures, baseboards, speakers, windows, mirrors, floors, restrooms, break rooms and other applicable areas of the store.
·  Maintains necessary cleaning supplies and stocks as needed.
·  Follows proper procedures when using cleaning supplies in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

Training Requirements: Part-Time

·  The Part-Time Sales Associate will be considered “In-Training” until all phases of training have been completed.

Qualifications

·  At least 18 years of age
·  Prior retail experience preferred
