PURPOSE:
The Infrastructure Developer will be a key position supporting our journey to transform enterprise infrastructure to a digital, cloud-focused ecosystem. This position will focus on implementing DevOp disciplines, Infrastructure as Code and automation, as well as helping to integrate our application developers to the same practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enterprise Infrastructure is a department within Enterprise Technology Operations of Mast Global Technologies and is responsible for planning, designing, building, and running servers, storage, network, and database technology infrastructure for LBrands. Enterprise Infrastructure is comprised of four global teams including Enterprise Infrastructure Strategy, Enterprise Application Platform Services, Enterprise Core Infrastructure Services, and Enterprise Database Management Services. Enterprise Infrastructure teams represent and manage infrastructure technologies on which LBrands business units depend for all aspects of product and services delivery.

The Infrastructure Developer is an experienced application development role, which not only performs and supports team goals within Enterprise Infrastructure, but also contributes to the overall strategy in the organization and platforms. This associate will also be a key infrastructure player for our clients and partners as they utilize the technology stacks provided by Enterprise Infrastructure.

The candidate for this position will have practical development experience with the detailed skills, and will support the automation and codification of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) on one or more public cloud providers. Understanding of and experience with DevOps methodologies would be a plus as we drive to modernize our processes and applications.

AUTHORITY:
• Design and implement cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies, including automation, orchestration and code
• Create and modify infrastructure code to deploy on Azure (and other future cloud platforms)
• Identify and implement tools to improve existing environment (CI/CD, monitoring, logging, etc.)
• Develop automation and code to support the needs of operational and application partner teams

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-6 years of experience of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in information technology
• Ability to provide level 3 support for technical issues
• Ability to learn new skills quickly
• Experience in Design, Architecture and Implementation of:
• IaaS on major cloud vendor – Azure, AWS or GCP, virtual machines, containers (GKE, AKS), including automation
• PaaS on major cloud vendor – Azure, AWS or GCP
• VMWare Automation
• Orchestration and automation of on prem and on cloud deployments – Ansible, Chef, Puppet, VRA, Rancher, OpenStack, Openshift, etc.
• Programming Experience in:
• Powershell and *nix shell programming
• Python web service development, REST web services
• Application Design principles, practices design patterns, DevOps and software live cycles.
• Source Code revision systems such as SVN, Stash or Github
• Testing automation, continuous integration with tools such as Jira and Jenkins
• Knowledge of the following would be welcome:
• Cloud Management Plaforms, such as Morpheus, Scalr, VRA
• Hashicorp products such as Packer, Terraform and Vault
• Must be able to handle complex work tasks and deliverables through application of best practices with minimal to moderate guidance
• Should have an understanding of basic networking concepts, as well as basic compute and storage concepts.
• Be creative and innovative in approaches to solving complex technical challenges, while collaborating and communicating effectively within the team and with partner teams to ensure consistency of process
• Communicate effectively with partner teams, both verbal and written
