Mast
Global is seeking a Sourcing Analyst

focused on Bath & Body Works personal care product categories.
This position is located in Reynoldsburg,
Ohio.


 
OVERVIEW:

Individual contributor primarily focused on
supporting product launches, strategies and developing end to end analysis to
manage one or more subcategories as it relates to primary and secondary
components as well as contract manufacturers within the Bath & Body Works portfolio. Analyst level supports speed and cost
savings initiatives and may train and delegate tasks to temps or associates as
a development opportunity.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

 

Category/Commodity
Management:


·  Analyze
& negotiate vendor quotes for new business and communicate award decision
·  Analyzing
cost increase requests and communicate business impact
·  Invoice
discrepancy resolution
·  Analyze
& correct from PO-PIR Report
·  Run
Scorecard, Reporting, Analysis & Revision process
·  Validate
final cost to target cost
·  Maintain,
extract data in business systems

Sourcing
Execution & Vendor Engagement:


·  Lead
and support the Vendor set up & maintenance process
·  Support
the implementation of the overall Sourcing Strategies
·  Assist
in vendor performance improvement
·  Maintaining
vendor profiles & capabilities
·  Tracking
new vendor on-boarding progress
·  Create
& maintain documents supporting business related needs and meetings
·  Gather
and follow up on information related to RFQ process with vendor
·  Lead
tactical vendor relationship & discussions
·  Have
an understanding of vendors, vendor capabilities, supply chain, industry,
competitors & cross functional teams
·  Strong
relationship within Global Vendor Management team, cross functional partners

Value Engineering (VE) project execution & other department &
strategic initiatives
·  Supporting
Sourcing excellence initiatives through best practice & process
committees
·  Analyze
vendor scorecard and communicate metrics where necessary
·  Lead
the category strategy analytical work. May support the development with
Manager/Supervisor

 

Talent
Management & Development


·  Creation
and execution of Individual Development Plan (IDP) / Personal Performance
Objectives (PPO’s) / Quarterly Connects / Performance Review in accordance
with the performance management life cycle process
·  Identify
continuous learning opportunities for own development (ie. Learning Manager, attend
other meetings to gain insights, job shadowing, vendor visits, commodity
schools)
·  Participate
in regular touch bases
·  Participate
and support team engagement initiatives as identified through the Associate
Opinion Survey
·  Train
cross functional partners and participate in onboarding initiatives when
appropriate

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·  3-5 years’ work experience in
Purchasing, Operations Planning, Package/Supply Chain Engineering, and/or
Strategic Sourcing positions
·  Experience in manufacturing and/or
consumer goods/retail preferred
·  Solid business acumen and ability to Make recommendations and business decisions
with supervisor
·  System and computer proficiency
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results.
·  Ability to build and foster strong
trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners.

 
EDUCATION:
·  Bachelor’s degree in Business
/ Engineering / Supply Chain Management or related field
·  Relevant
internship and/or school leadership experience a plus
