Our sales teams are looking for high-performing and motivated students to develop into the sales and business development professionals of the future – the 2.0 version in a world where sales and distribution of consumer products are multi-channel and multi-platform and the market dynamics are ever-changing. At L’Oréal, we give our interns the space to explore, to have full time employee responsibilities, present their own insights to senior management, and to become future leaders.

The L’Oréal Sales Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to work at our corporate headquarters in New York or in one of our remote offices. The remote offices, also referred to as “hubs,” are located within close proximity to our largest retail partners like Walmart or Target. This unique opportunity enables interns to be immersed in the the day to day operations of a team that works very closely with their counterparts in the retailer’s corporate headquarters in order to grow the L’Oréal business. 

What You Will Be Doing:

·  Own an individual project and/or group project with strategic business impact that you present to senior leaders
·  Contribute to a very busy and dynamic sales team while sharing fresh insight
·  Learn how to tell a compelling story with data and generate insights and viable recommendations
·  Network and learn about multiple functions (Digital, Supply Chain, Finance, R&I and Marketing)
·  Participate in formal and informal training opportunities

Who You Are:

·  You thrive in a fast paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
·  You are a self-starter with strong interpersonal and networking skills
·  You are resourceful and can successfully move a project forward being given vague or new tasks
·  You are able to work collaboratively on group initiatives and autonomously on individual projects
·  You have strong attention to detail analytically and are results oriented
·  You have demonstrated leadership ability and interest in the area of sales through your extra-curricular activities and/or volunteer work

The Program:

·  You will be working within our Consumer Products Division. The Consumer Products Division makes the best of cosmetic innovation available to the greatest number of people on every continent. Its brands are distributed in mass, drug, speciality & food retailing channels. These brands offer a wide range of coloring products, hair care, makeup and skin care.
·  Within the division, you will be placed onto a team within one of the following sales areas:
·  Account / Field Sales
·  Brand Business Development
·  e-Commerce
·  Category Development
·  Future of Retail
·  New Business Development
·  Revenue Growth Management
·  Customer Marketing
·  Business Forecasting/Planning
·  Our summer internship is the primary path for consideration in L’Oréal’s full-time Sales Leadership Development Program upon graduation based on overall performance.

Eligibility:

·  You must be an enrolled 4-year degree college student graduating either Spring or Summer 2021
·  You must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
·  You must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent and ongoing future basis without requiring sponsorship
·   You are able to work the entirety of the 11-week summer internship program in 2020, starting on May 28th and ending August 7th
·  You are willing to work in any of the following locations for the summer (Final placements will be communicated December 2019)
·  New York, NY
·  Bentonville, AR
·  Deerfield, IL
·  Minneapolis, MN
·  Lincoln, RI
·  Ability to provide own transportation between home and work office location is required.
