Intern – Integrated Communications (PR, Events, Social Media)
Position Reports To
AVP Integrated Communications – Kiehl’s Since 1851
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for recent undergraduate with a PR/Communications focus. This intern will learn about PR/event strategy, while gaining exposure to other key departments such as social media, marketing, education, and e-commerce. This position will work closely with Media Relations Manager and IC Coordinator to drive brand love and excitement through engaging PR/editorial/events content that brings the brand to life.
Job Responsiblities
PR:
· Assist PR Manager with daily editorial inquiries such as image & credit requests as well as product send outs
· Oversee product closet organization
· Support PR team in monitoring daily press mentions and assist on weekly press report
· Assist in conceptualizing and organizing innovative and creative product mailings to editors and VIPs
· Assist with research tasks
· Managing guest lists and logistics for PR launch events
· Assist in day-to-day workings of the office
Events:
· Ability to assist with research on vendors, venues and fresh ideas for events
· Be enthusiastic in planning, packing and setting up events
Job Qualifications
·Undergraduate degree completed within the last 12 months
· Strong knowledge of and passion for social media
·Interest in beauty/fashion/social; keen eye for trends
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Exceptional writing skills, with a go-getter attitude, to positively engage with editors, makeup artists, vendors and influencers
· Experience with events a plus
· Have the ability to be resourceful while working within brand aesthetic and tone of voice
· Strong attention to detail
