Tax Technology Advisor - Corporate Tax

Job description

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in technology and at least some basic programming experience. As a member of the Tax Technology Group you will work with other developers and tax specialists to modernize and improve existing solutions and contribute to the development of new client orientated solutions. You will have the opportunity to develop a tax knowledge, learn new programming skills and build up experience in technology development.The focus will be on the further development of the service line, personal competences and interdisciplinary cooperation. To achieve this we take care that the successful person receives the necessary training and development opportunities both for tax and technology.
Tasks and responsibilities
• Be the bridge between our colleagues from the tax, legal and advisory branches in regards to tax technology• Analyze and determine issues and requirements based on business needs and legislation• Modernize and further develop existing solutions• Design and develop new solutions and liaise on a constant basis about this with your stakeholders• Help improve the working knowledge of the relevant stakeholders so existing client projects receive the best support they deserve• Increase overall collaboration between the relevant departments and act as a trainer in helping your colleagues to understand and use newly developed tax technology
Who are you?
• Degree with a relevant financial or economic focus or a degree in commercial engineering, management information systems, computer science or law with a relevant finance or economics qualification• Hands-on, ability to analyze well with an innovative approach and desire to solve problems• Uphold client and customer satisfaction which demands of you to be flexible and very adaptable in your approach• Genuine interest and capability in technology with an initial programming experience• Fluent in English with a working knowledge of either French or Dutch
