QA Engineer / Automation Tester

Key responsibilities

- Work with Software Engineers, Development Team colleagues and Product Managers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications to ensure QA standards
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases with implementing appropriate risk-based testing approaches
- Plan, conduct and monitor testing of products to ensure finished product quality
- Design, develop and execute manual and automated tests using existing frameworks and/or develop new initiatives if required
- Develop and recommend corrective and preventive actions for the developers
- Investigate customer complaints and issues, participate in L1/L2 support
- Identify training needs and organize training interventions to meet quality standards
- Collect and compile statistical quality data reports
- Document thoroughly of Quality Assurance activities

Requirements

- 3+ years' proven relevant experience
- Experience with implementation of automated tests
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Appropriate level of English to communicate in written and verbal form
- Problem-solving skills, constructive assessment, analytical mindset and high attention to details

Advantages

- Experience with BDD, Gherkin language, or SpecFlow
- ISTQB certification
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- T-SQL knowledge
- Experience in TFS, VSTS, SSMS
