Overview of the opportunity:

This is a great opportunity to work with a team of professionals in strategy, change and communication, business analysis, technology, and project management. You will provide Team support for the larger projects in the Strategic Initiatives group, and will have the opportunity to coordinate a wide range of activities as well as work on project deliverables where you can demonstrate your analytical skills. You excel in your role and have a minimum 3 years experience in a Project Coordinator role combined with a solid understanding of project coordination and management principles. You are an avid learner, able to adjust to requests in a fast paced environment, not afraid to ask questions, able to understand a situation and take initiative, and produce high quality deliverables. You have a can do attitude!

What you will do:

Duties and responsibilities for this role will vary depending on the projects across the program, and will include the below activities, but not limited to:

·  Provide project support to the SI Team on larger Firm-wide initiatives
·  Produce and share high-quality meeting minutes,
·  Track action items, risks, and decisions, as well as keep the risk and action items log up to date, and follow-up on action items with project stakeholders
·  Collect, consolidate and 'cleanse data' in preparation for reports, summaries and leadership analysis.
·  Coordinate general program administration and action items
·  Schedule meetings (attendees and meeting space) in a timely manner
·  Share relevant documentation and reports with project teams
·  Provide information and regular support to the project team
·  Be point of contact for various working groups and coordinate activities with stakeholders at different levels of the organization
·  Develop in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes
·  Understand formal escalation and review processes
·  Take on small/targeted projects to support the delivery of the projects under the SIO Program. This includes developing the project scope, plan and reporting tools
·  Create, edit and review reports
What you bring to the role:

·  Minimum 3 years in a Project Coordinator role with demonstrable experience in all facets of project coordination
·  Consistent in the quality of deliverables, strong team player who is dedicated and motivated to working within a team environment
·  Able to multi-task and remain extremely organized, as well as perform under tight deadlines
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Organized, accurate and detail oriented
·  Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, and experience working with cross-functional, diverse teams
·  Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent activities in order to meet deadlines, and good sense of initiative
·  Strong client service skills a must
·  Superior analytical skills demonstrated through data collection, consolidation and preparation, production of reports, summaries and analysis.
·  Willingness to learn and take on additional tasks as required, e.g. management of small projects
·  Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project
·  Visio is an asset.
