Roles and Responsibilities

· Writing clean, reusable, testable functional code on the front- and back-end.

· Participating in the design and creation of scalable software.

· Write effective APIs

· Identify and suggest various opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality.

· Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

· Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies

· Optimize applications for maximum speed

· Write technical documentations and guides.
Create quality mock-ups and prototypes

Qualifications and Skills

· Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Experience and Background

· Minimum 4+ years of strong experience in software development.

· Proven experience as a full stack developer or similar role

· Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

· Familiarity with common stacks

· Knowledge of multiple front-end languages, frameworks and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, REACTJS)

· Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python)

· Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills

· Must know object oriented programming concepts with strong flair for data structures.

· Strong prior experience in REST API design with any HTTP/Web framework

· Experience with any Public Cloud Platform

·  Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

·  Experience of data processing architectures (Streaming/Batch) is highly preferable
