We are currently looking to recruit a Management Information (MI) Analyst to join our growing team based in Glasgow.
The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Management Information (MI) and Analytics Analyst on a permanent contract to join our growing team based in Glasgow.
The role will be working in the Management Information and Analytics team within the Tax, Legal and Pensions division and will assist in enhancing the reporting and analysis provided to a growing stakeholder group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the production of regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders based on their seasonal needs and requirements.

Produce and provide regular reporting and analysis based on the requirements of stakeholders

Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, which are crucial in the support to key business decision making
·
Provide assistance in the design of reporting and analysis within data analytics tools
·
Ensure best practices are upheld in reporting and analysis
·
Provide assistance with ongoing reporting and analysis automation project
·
Extract data from multiple sources and create meaningful data outputs which can add value to stakeholders
·
Expectation that the status quo will be challenged to look at better ways of reporting to our stakeholders and bring process improvement

Strong analytical, problem solving and data visualisation skills
·
Ability to prioritise workload and manage stakeholder expectations
·
Ability to listen to stakeholder demands and provide meaningful reporting to meet their requirements
·
Strong interpersonal skills
·
Highly articulate and numerate, paying attention to detail and accuracy
·
Strong Microsoft Office skills
, especially Excel
·
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to change and work under pressure
·
Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Skills and Experience
·
Knowledge of SQL
·
Experience creating dashboards in data analytics tools, such as Qliksense
·
Experience using Alteryx or other data preparation tools
·
An understanding of macros or VBA
