Overview of the opportunity:
Global Finance delivers most ongoing finance activities from outsourced providers. The KPMG resources in Global Finance are focused on providing value added activities which can only be delivered from within the firm.

Global Finance is responsible for managing all financial budgeting and reporting for KPMG International and its subsidiaries. This includes the following:
·  Levy and collection - issue levy and recharge to member firms, collections and reporting
·  Payable and disbursements - invoice processing, approval and payments for over 50+ significant functions
·  Management and financial reporting - interim and annual audited financial statements; actual versus budget monitoring and reporting; loans and investments summary; capitalization and maintenance of capital asset register
·  Direct and indirect taxes - to ensure complex compliance with several foreign reporting tax jurisdictions; prepare corporate tax filings for filings in various countries
·  Treasury functions - weekly and monthly cash flow projections; manage the initiation and maturity of currency hedges
What you will do:

Key accountabilities:
General ledger reconciliation, finance controllership, tax compliance, management reporting, operational finance support

·  Budget upload into SAP : ensure that the related templates are completed with correct information and correctly uploaded into SAP accounting system
·  Managing cost center structure and uploading of approval matrix : check cost center creation for consistency with standard hierarchy; onshore support for any change in the approval matrix for invoice approval/disbursements
·  Actual versus budget (AvB) reporting : assist in the overall process of generating AvB to facilitate budget holder commentaries on actual performance against budgets
·  Month and quarter end review of actual results : ensure that cost are properly accrued; perform trend and analytical review; identify sub budget areas with overspend/underspend for follow up action
·  Maintaining prepayment ledger : review prepayments and liaise with the respective controllers to ensure accuracy of computations; agree computations to the underlining documentations; reconciling to the general ledger and ensure monthly release of prepaid amounts
·  Inputs for various corporate tax returns : assist in the gathering of cost by budget areas, by location and by people and by expense categories; review for any year over year significant variances
·  Pay run review : periodic review to ensure that the proposed disbursements are in accordance with the pre-established approval matrix; supplier banking details match the invoices and that invoices from various KPMG member firms are in accordance with the internal recharge policies
·  Controller for the contingency budget : analyze, summarize and report other contingency payments as approved and agreed by management
·  Other ad hoc projects : controller for smaller temporary budget areas and other tasks as assigned from time to time for example allocation of overhead cost to various functions; assist in the review of year end accruals and other trend reports or analysis of cost and or resources

Keys to your success

·  At least 4 to 5 years of management accounting experience preferably in a large multinational environment
·  Knowledge of SAP is preferred
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Advance Excel skills
·  Undergraduate degree in business or finance or accounting
·  Professional accounting designation
