Global Finance is responsible for managing all financial budgeting and reporting for KPMG International and its subsidiaries.This includes the following:

·  Levy and collection - issue levy and recharge to member firms, collections and reporting
·  Payable and disbursements - invoice processing, approval and payments for over 50+ significant functions
·  Management and financial reporting - interim and annual audited financial statements; actual versus budget monitoring and reporting; loans and investments summary; capitalization and maintenance of capital asset register
·  Direct and indirect taxes - to ensure complex compliance with several foreign reporting tax jurisdictions; prepare corporate tax filings for filings in various countries
·  Treasury functions - weekly and monthly cash flow projections; manage the initiation and maturity of currency hedges
Overview of the opportunity:
Reporting to the Global Finance Business Partner for Global Audit (director level) this role will assist in the support one of the largest global team and budget area.

Under the direction of the Finance Business Partner the successful candidate will assist in analytical support for four global budget areas, coordinate the production of monthly reports, the analysis of costs vs budget and global revenues, and the monitoring of transactions of a subsidiary entity.

In addition, approximately 30% of the role will involve acting as systems administrator to global finance systems, interacting with users across the global finance and global human resources organization.
What you will do:
Operational Finance Support
·  Assist with preparation of reports and setting up of new reports for the analysis of costs, revenue and time postings;
·  Support analysis of financial results, highlighting exceptions and escalating them as appropriate;
·  Assist with analysis and allocation of time and billing information from key vendors to projects;
·  Coordinate the annual budgeting process for areas within the portfolio, assisting with analysis of headcount, costs and time allocations;
·  Assist with tracking of transactions of the a subsidiary entity, checking completeness and accuracy of service partner System Administration of TM1 for cost and headcount reporting
·  Maintain role profiles and security within the system, setting up new users and keeping existing profiles up to date;
·  Coordinate data extraction for budgeting and other centralized processes;
·  Update and modify cost centers and field names within the system;
·  Work with SAP administrators and developers to coordinate the migration of data to TM1.
·  Coordinate end user support including monitoring for performance issues, assisting with help tickets and publishing of system changes Various projects and initiatives support.
What you bring to the role:

·  The ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial or business reports and projections.
·  Strong Excel skills, with the ability to compile and analyse large volumes of data in an efficient manner.
·  Ability to work with remote, geographically diverse teams on a daily basis.
·  Ability to use own initiative to identify practical solutions to resolve issues that arise.
·  Proven communication and relationship building skills with the ability to present financial and non-financial information in a clear and effective manner.
·  A 'self-starter' - ability to work independently on a daily basis with minimum supervision.
·  Professional Accounting Designation and a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or Business Administration
Keys to your success:
Prior experience - At least 3 years of Accounting experience in a similar role in a similar sized organization preferably within a Big 4 accounting firm; Systems savvy: SAP S4 HANA, TM1/Cognos, Advance user of Excel, experience managing large volumes of data
