KPMG is currently seeking a Tax Technician to join ourMergers & Acquisitions practice.

Responsibilities:

·  Provide administrative support to select service offerings within Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Tax relating to the creation, execution and reporting of business plans
·  Act as liaison with Finance and Accounting and Resource Management to provide timely and accurate reporting and to help ensure optimized balance of client support and team development
·  Create and prepare Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
·  Own responsibility for communications and meetings including scheduling, logistics and agendas
·  Work collaboratively with all M&A Tax team members
·  Ability to brainstorm with leaders and team members to solve problems and address issues including proposing solutions and process improvements

Qualifications:

·  A minimum of two years of experience preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
·  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
·  Excellent administrative, organizational and project management experience required, as well as strong verbal and written communication
·  Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task many activities simultaneously
·  Ability to travel, work overtime, and answer calls/emails regarding urgent matters during weekend and late evening hours as needed
