To support our growth, we, at KPMG Luxembourg are looking for an Talent & Development Business Partner (m/f) for our HR team.

The role and responsibilities

The Talent & Development Business Partner acts as a privileged People contact, is in charge of the implementation of the talent development & learning strategy in collaboration with the Management/Leadership and adviseseach individual along their career. Specialist in HR matters with a clear focus on Talent management, Development solutions, Business Leadership skills and performance, the Talent & Development Business Partner supports KPMG in aligning organizational & human capabilities with the business/firm's strategy and needs, works hand in hand with the other People & Culture teams, the Management & employees to reach common objectives. You will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of activities:

·  Performance & People management

·  Deploy the key firm's performance and development process (Performance Reviews, Open PD, calibration meetings...)

·  With the Head of function, implement the Talent management strategy within the function to enhance the development of talents & teams' effectiveness

·  Act as a coach to management /performance managers in terms of performance/career management, people engagement and development solutions

·  Support the Management and Leadership to ensure quality standard in conducting meaningful career conversations, in giving regular constructive feedback and in assessing performance in line with Firm's assessment criteria

·  With the Head of department, monitor closely people's performance & teams' effectiveness (incl. team assessment, and KPIs such as absences, performance issues) and decides the right actions to take and decisions to be made

·  Conduct with the Leadership sensitive discussions: preliminary discussion in dismissal process, negative end of probation meeting, disciplinary measure, etc. and coordinate the whole process (risk management, communication, etc.)

·  Learning & Development

·  Know and understand the key business targets and KPI's of the Function

·  Gain a deep understanding of learning priorities, needs, and desired outcomes for the Function to make client-oriented learning solutions

·  Conduct training needs analysis and make recommendations for training solutions that suit individual and team needs

·  Liaising with EMA/Global to obtain and understand course offerings evaluate and synthesize options to create the tailored plan for Luxembourg

·  Challenge the internal client to ensure the desired outcomes are clear and recommend the appropriate 70:20:10 solution

·  Prioritize learning investments with the greatest impact on talent and business outcomes

·  Communicate effectively the training offer on a timely basis

·  Implement key learning to support improved business performance by acting as facilitator and/or course leader for Business Leadership skills programs (Performance manager curriculum, Milestones, Team assessment & coaching ...)

·  Work Hand in Hand with Business & Leadership Lead to design and facilitate Business & Leadership courses (Milestones, Performance Manager Curriculum, ...)


·  Coordination with other People & Culture teams

·  Act as a relay between the Function and some People & Culture teams (mainly People Services & Development Solutions deployment)

·  Work hand in hand with the Employee Engagement Specialist on retention by ensuring a proper transition of employees from the Onboarding phase to the Development one

·  Provide support and guidance to the Learning & Development Specialist to realize the training plan

·  Contribute to design and development training content in collaboration with the Content Designer

·  Be involved in process improvements projects & various HR projects related to Talent Management in collaboration with the Efficiency & Tools and Project Management teams

·  Contribute to internal communication related to HR matters: write articles, internal communications

The perfect candidate

·  You hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Law or Business Administration
·  You have been in a team management role in a client facing position,
·  You have emotional intelligence and ability to deal with sensitive topics and situations,
·  You demonstrate strong communication skills, very good organizational and project management skills,
·  You have a high sense of ethics and confidentiality,
·  You have excellent training delivery, facilitation and presentation skills,
·  You have the ability to adapt and influence the audience and collaborate with a variety of profiles .
