Title: Regulatory Compliance Advisor - Supervisory

Business Unit: RCS

Purpose of the Job:

The purpose of this role is to deliver a wide range of regulatory compliance services for KPMG clients both within the public and private sector.

Key job duties or responsibilities:

(1) To deliver regulatory compliance reviews.

(2) Provide training both internally and externally on regulatory compliance issues.

(3) Deliver regulatory compliance presentations both internally and externally to clients

(4) Assist with regulatory compliance proposals

(5) Complete all required risk management processes.

(6) Assist with preparation of regulatory compliance brochures and technical updates.

Critical Technical Skills or competencies

Ability to deliver on regulatory compliance reviews

Ability to assist with selling regulatory compliance work to current and target clients

Knowledge of both public and private sector

Broad knowledge of the Regulatory compliance universe and current legislation i.e., King 4, Consumer Protection Act, Promotion of access to Information Act, PFMA, MFMA, Companies Act etc

Ability to compile and write reports

Ability to do research into regulatory compliance issues

Good presentation skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to build good client relationships

Qualifications and experience

(1) Legal qualification i.e. B Com LLB or Chartered accountant or MBA

(2) Previous experience in the regulatory compliance field with a proven track record
