As part of Regional Marketing Team, the Desktop Publisher will provide rapid support to various business activities that have direct impact to GEO's revenue. This position is at the centre of a very fast paced/multitask environment and requires the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.

Through a simplified workflow process, the Desktop Publisher will work collaboratively with the client to deliver consistent quality and on-brand work in a timely manner. From time to time, the Desktop Publisher will provide production support to the Designer and will also participate in local proposal asset management, design product support and print coordination when necessary.

This position requires 50-60% in proposal support, 30-40% in leadership presentation & design production support, and 5-10% in business administration. Ability to work flexible hours as required.

Major Accountabilities

·  Supports the creation of local proposals or any projects have direct GEO revenue impact. Examples include proposal formatting, proposal site visit kit, client leave behind, client presentation.
·  Provides presentation support including graphic enhancement and compliant with the brand standards. Examples include leadership presentation, local key accounts presentation, Town Hall presentation etc.
·  At any one time, manages 8 to 10 projects efficiently
·  Creation of local assets for the Region including print advertisements and print invitations
·  Takes direction from the client and the designer while following the brand standards respectfully
·  Consistently delivers client service excellence to demonstrates The KPMG Way

Other Job Requirements

·  Community College education and preferably a graphic design related qualification
·  Minimum 5 years of desktop publishing experience in a sales or marketing environment or equivalent
·  Proficient with MS Office applications e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
·  Relevant production experience using Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign and Acrobat
·  Strong problem solving skills. Proven ability to perform under pressure and demonstrated client-centric service skills. Has a 'can do' attitude
·  Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·  Strong interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
·  Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
