Your Role

Your role is to facilitate effective receipt and dispatch of all inventories.

Your Responsibilities

·  Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
·  Documentation of Inventory Receiving, Dispatching and Counting
·  Performs cycle counts, examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to Supervisors. In addition, keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
·  Transact inventory movements using inventory control system by filling and transacting work orders, purchase orders and sales orders and update Access/Excel Database to ensure reconciled Stocks in both systems
·  Unload items to be stocked in warehouses and/or storage yards. Package and stock finished goods items by ensuring FIRST IN FIRST OUT rule is followed for all transactions and execute distribution Plans
·  Fill independent demands for material requisitions to ensure replenish flow line of materials and receive completed devices
·  Perform domestic and international shipping activities, Airside cargo forwarding and Interface with Customer Service, Technical Service and delivery personnel
·  Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to Supervisor

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Prior experience in Contract Logistics
·  Computer Literate
·  Warehouse Operations skills
·  Detail-oriented, highly organized, team player
·  Problem Solving, ability to work effectively in a team environment
·  A flexible approach to work and the ability to work under pressure
·  Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Kiswahili
