Looking for a new challenge in logistics? Join our growing team in Portugal, as a Transport Planer for the Overland Department.

Your Role

As a Transport Planner (Overland) you´ll be responsible for organizing transports by choosing the most economical possible solution, respecting the customer´s requirements and the given quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

·  Perform national and international transport planning and handling. 
·  Inquire and calculate freight charges.
·  Coordinate shipping agents and freight carriers (Registration and handling of shipments).
·  Get in touch with international carriers and act as the first escalation point for customers.
·  Control the freight costs.
·  Create and handle of shipping documents and delivery notices.
·  Process IT-based orders, coordinate delivery dates and plan efficient tours.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Completed studies in logistics or a similar qualification 
·  Multiple years of experience in a similar position
·  Familiar with the design of shipping routes (travel times, breaks, shipping routes)
·  Strong affinity with required customer quality standards
·  Proficient in English and Portuguese
