Job description

You will be responsible for the design and execution of Kuehne+Nagel's North America talent sourcing strategy as well as individual sourcing efforts at all staff and organizational levels.

Your Role

You are our talent hunter and the first point of contact at Kuehne+Nagel for talent who is open and curious about career opportunities and career paths at our company. You interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks communicate with them and help to transition from a candidate to an applicant stage.

Your Responsibilities

            Core Operational Tasks:

·  Cooperate with Talent Business Partners (Recruiters) and Hiring Managers to determine position requirements and recommend the most suitable sourcing strategy.
·  Find, engage, and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques
·  Convert candidates and people interested in KN into qualified applicants for specific hiring projects
·  Deliver to the recruiter and/or Hiring Team (ideally balanced) shortlist of candidates ready/willing to be interviewed for the role

Core Strategic Tasks:

·  Work with business leaders and recruiters in understanding the KN talent needs
·  Strategize different ways, build and maintain talent pipelines for KN’s business critical and strategically important roles
·  Serve as an advisor to the TSC team with regards to sourcing best practices to include sourcing strategy, evaluation technique and decision making
·  Identify and recommend new and creative ways to source and attract top talent across all hiring tools and platforms.
·  Act as KN brand ambassador- get the candidate excited during the initial reach out
·  Team up with Recruiters to manage an efficient model of operation
·  Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas

Responsibilities:

·  Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization.
·  Execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
·  Manage the first stage of the recruiting process and be the first point of contact at KN for potential candidates and applicants
·  Evaluate candidate fit by engaging both technical and behavioral interviewing techniques, as well as unconventional techniques to identify exceptional talent
·  Identify people and conduct pre-screening calls. This includes:
-Engaging with the person: InMail, email, phone tweet, text, in person (job fair).
-Speaking with them.
-Be able to understand if they are capable of doing the job. Not accurately assessing them, at that can only be done in the recruitment process.
-Explaining everything they know about the role, why it is open, what is expected etc.
-Get candidate’s resume and the consent to be put forward in the recruitment process.
·  Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
·  Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired
·  Research and gather market intelligence. Understand and execute against shifts in the marketplace that present recruiting opportunities.
·  Research and target new talent sourcing channels, constantly working to uncover new hidden talent

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Proven work experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role
·  Strong metrics and verbal presentation on project status and candidate reviews with recruiters and hiring managers
·  Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
·  Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and Candidate Management Systems (CMSs)
·  Solid verbal and written communication skills
·  Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates
·  Effective time-management abilities
