Kuehne Nagel Russia opens position Seafreight import coordinator (Location Tula)

Your Role

Import Operational Care will be part of a team in the Operational Care Center responsible for coordinating transport activities by liaising with our customer care specialists to ensure requirements are met. All of these activities are to be performed in compliance with rules and regulations governing sea transport and associated national protocols

Your Responsibilities

To acknowledgment of file/ prepare shipment file for import shipment handling
To manage GP planning
To check and complete import documentation
To organize cargo release and customs clearance
To coordinate with customer service, haulers and carriers for the imports of shipment (on-carriage can but not have to be done here)
To ensure profit maximization
To immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager, divisional manager or branch manager
To monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered
To check incoming invoices, create sales invoices, and manage FSL
To review and insure alignment of shipping instructions (SOP’s/ABT, SIC…) including to clarify any deviations/conflicts taking country regulations, export compliance and rate and routing information into consideration
To work with Sales and Customer Service on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations

Your Skills and Experiences

University degree
Analytical & Organizing Skills
Work experience in seafreight logistics
High level of attention to details, communication, organizational skills
Intermediate English
