Join our Regional Sales Team in Hamburg as Regional Industry Champion (m/f/d) Pharma and Healthcare!

Your Role

As Regional Industry Champion (m/f/d) Pharma and Healthcare for Europe you are responsible for the regional development of new and additional business as well as the retention of the existing business in the vertical Pharma and Healthcare - in line with the corporate as well as regional strategies.

Your Responsibilities

·  Supervision of the European Key Accounts in Pharma and Healthcare Industry
·  Responsibility for the overall strategy of Pharma Healthcare for Europe across all business units, in line with the global strategies of the business units and in close coordination with the IC
·  Liaise with counterparts in other regions, the global industry champion, and all business field stakeholders within the Europe region to establish Kuehne + Nagel’s strategy for their particular vertical
·  Coordination of the regional involvement during strategy planning phases and support of the development of industry solution centers
·  Management, development and individual coordination of the key account portfolio for Pharma & Healthcare in cooperation with Corporate Sales
·  Creation, coordination and adjustment of Key Account plans in accordance with the business divisions, countries and budget
·  Recommendation of tailored pricing and negotiation strategies for Pharma & Healthcare industry as well as coaching, monitoring and consulting on all aspects of this 
·  Direct support of RFQ in preparation and management
·  Support the Regional and global Marketing in terms of market developments and customer updates

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Minimum 8 years of logistics sales experience, with a proven track record in key account management
·  Profound knowledge of the market and the requirements and needs of the Pharma & Healthcare industry
·  Creative ability in developing sales strategies and solutions and in presenting innovative solutions to customers
·  Performance and people management skills are highly advantageous for the success of this role
·  Active listening and good analytical skills
·  Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills 
·  Self-disciplined, strong leadership and motivational abilities, customer oriented thinking
·  To ensure effective and seamless communication between different stakeholders and our customers, it is essential that you are fluent in English and German
·  Willingness to travel
