Job description

The Quality Compliance Officer will provide a link between the Warehouse, Inventory and Quality. The Quality Compliance Officer will report to the Quality Manager and deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence. Experience in a GxP environment is essential this can be either GDP (Good Documentation Practice) or GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Knowledge of the role and responsibilities of a Responsible Person is preferable but not essential.

Your Role

The purpose of this role is to provide a quality interface with all departments at the Chapeltown site, and provide a link between Warehouse Operatives and Quality. Delivering training excellence to the whole site and supporting the Team Leaders with the Quality Management System.

Your Responsibilities

·  Ensure all Work Instructions in use are current and controlled in the appropriate manner.
Reviewing, writing and approving writing work instructions. Manage the Change Control System at the site. Investigate deviations at the site
·  Action assigned CAPAs. Track deviations and CAPAs at the site and provide assistance in ensuring they are closed by the target date.
·  Responsible for providing GDP training to new employees at the site and refresher training.
Assist in Customer Audits and assist in actioning CAPAs raised from audits.
·  Responsibility for the management of returns of pharmaceutical and animal healthcare products at the site.
·  Responsible for the archiving of documentation at the site and ensuring all archived documentation can re be retrieved from archive quickly and efficiently when required. Assist with the temperature mapping, calibration and temperature monitoring activities at the site.
·  Providing assistance in the event of a recall and in dealing with customer complaints ensuring they are dealt with effectively.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Experience in a Quality role, preferably in pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution
·  Experience of working in a cGMP manufacturing environment
·  Excellent PC skills (ability to use all MS Office products to a high standard)
·  Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
·  Degree (or equivalent) in Life Science – desirable
·  Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills (at all levels)
·  Excellent attention to detail and excellent record keeping skills
