We have a rare opening for an I.T. professional to assist our IT team with all aspects of Kuehne + Nagel's IT function in line with its local, regional, and global IT strategy. As part of a small team you will learn from experienced IT professionals and gain exposure to a range of IT functions supporting the company's branches.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Assisting to develop IT services and products that meet the needs of the company's customers
·  IT equipment maintenance - Installation of new equipment when required and keeping an up to date register of all equipment
·  Software installation and upgrades when required
·  Customer service excellence - providing practical operating systems support to all users and responding to event logs in a timely manner
·  Assisting with IT projects from time to time

Your skills and experience

·  A relevant tertiary degree, or IT qualification
·  Demonstrated experience dealing with customers
·  Ability to work well with others in a team environment
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Self-Motivated and able to prioritize multiple deadlines

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individual with a 'can-do' attitude and an ability to follow tasks through to completion. You may be in an entry level IT position looking for the next step in your development or you may be a graduate keen to kick start your career.
