Financial Business Analyst

Job description

The position will act as a gatekeeper for Finance for the assigned branches/area, who can work independently and be able to identify areas of improvement, business needs/requirements, as well as keeping close communication lines to General Managers and Business Controller.

Your Role

The position will act as a gatekeeper for Finance for the assigned branches/area, who can work independently and be able to identify areas of improvement, business needs/requirements, as well as keeping close communication lines to General Managers and Business Controller.

Your Responsibilities

•Billing support for all accounts / Automation of billing process
•Financial Metrics /  Prepare financial reports for both local and central management
•Provide the DCM/GM with tools to prepare an accurate forecast and reporting
•Independently process month end closing procedures to ensure accurate revenue and cost recognition, while managing any balance sheet exposures
•Monitor and report financial KPI performance
•Data Analysis and Ad Hoc Report creation
•Prepare and distribute daily/weekly P&L files
•Customer profitability analysis
•Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting regarding data quality, completeness, and relevancy
•Creation of data base for hours tracking
•Maintain running metrics sheet for all accounts
•Update SQCDP board as required
•ACON+ administration, supply ordering

Your Skills and Experiences

• At a minimum, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

 EXPERIENCE   
• Minimum of 2-4 years working experience in Finance or Controlling environment.
• Experience in logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment

 KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & TRAITS
• In depth understanding of financial and accounting concepts
• Ability to relay financial information to non-financial personnel
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment and to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the business
• Should have very strong operational knowledge related to MS Office (Excel, Excess, Word, PowerPoint), and Monarch
• Knowledge of ACON New of advantage
• Basic understanding of Contract Logistics business
