Job description

We are offering a Facility Coordinator function within our office in Luxembourg.

Your Role

The Facility Coordinator leads a team of Facility technicians and supports the facility manager in the operational aspects of Facility Management. You ensure an excellent Facility service and support to employees and customers.

Your Responsibilities

·  Responsible for the functioning of all building systems/hard services to keep up with our Quality, Safety, Health & environmental standards. Whether it is: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, winter services, sustainability, infrastructure, security.
·  Manage the team responsible for the functioning of all supporting systems and support the Facility Manager with the coordination and preparation of technical maintenance and repairs.
·  Follow-up on the Facility Management Ticketing tool ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the request in a timely manner
·  Perform regular site tours and spot checks to identify areas for improvement and Control and maintenance of facility access management system
·  Plan, organize and follow up the necessary periodic internal and external inspections (machines, fire extinguishing facilities, electricity,..).
·  Request and evaluate supplier offers and look for competitive alternatives to existing suppliers.
·  Implement effective staff organization and actively promote, lead, coach and develop team members using the resources of the company HR framework
·  Be the SPOC for the internal clients, you advice on facility improvement projects and you submit the necessary requests.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Bachelor or Master education in facility management /civil  engineering / construction / environmental engineering / Technics
·  Strong technical background and  Ability to understand user requirements 
·  Strong management skills and the ability to develop team members
·  Flexibility, including deployment on other projects and tasks, supporting colleagues within skill-set when required, willingness to go ‘the extra mile’
·  To be able to work under stressful situations and maintain good composure at all times.
·  Ability to manage and prioritize workload and to work on own initiative in a timely manner.
·  Able to lead projects, communicate and cooperate with multiple parties
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German, good knowledge of English and French are an advantage

Note: Condition for the conclusion of an employment agreement in the above-mentioned role is the provision of an up-to-date (not older than 3 months) certificate of good conduct as per legislation of 23 July 2016.
