Your Role

As part of this team, we are looking for Site Facilities and Engineering Maintenance Operative to carry out planned and routine checks of site equipment and building infrastructure. You will also be responsible for repairs and inspection of racking systems for the sites, including the maintaining of adequate levels of spare parts.

Your Responsibilities

·  This role will be shift based carrying out routine checking of site assets and systems
·  Racking inspections and repairs
·  Maintaining of adequate spare parts for the racking infrastructure
·  Communicate any major equipment problems to site maintenance
·  Adhere to all H & S policies
·  Working to RDC operational procedures
·  Ensure COSHH risk assessments are adhered to
·  Evaluation of correct tools and materials required for task

Your Skills and Experiences

·  GCSE grade D or above in English and Maths (or equivalent). Physics or Technology based qualification would be advantageous 
·  A comprehensive working knowledge of Health and Safety
·  A good team player 
·  A self-starter who can work using their own initiative
·  A flexible approach and a good level of self-motivation
·  Have previous experience within facilities, maintenance or engineering an advantage
