We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic candidate to join our Overland team based in Auckland!

Your Role

Due to a growing business unit, we have a new position for an operator to coordinate the timely movements of domestic freight for our clients throughout New Zealand. This position is based within a team of 8, reporting to the Transport Supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

·  Timely acceptance and handling of shipment requests
·  Accurate monitoring of consignment movements and follow up
·  Customer service – ensure ongoing and consistent customer service satisfaction and communicating customer feedback to the team as and when required
·  Maintaining excellent relationships with other internal departments and service providers.
·  Driving high service levels from service providers

Your Skills and Experiences

·  An interest in freight forwarding and dispatch/transport, some experience in this area is preferred but not essential
·  Proven experience dealing with customers
·  Successful history juggling competing priorities and meeting multiple tight deadlines
·  An enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn
