Business Developer - Contract Logistics

Job description

As a Business Developer you will be the primary point of contact within the country with regard to Contract Logistics projects assigned to you.

Your Role

In this role you will develop new and existing businesses in alignment with customer’s strategy; you will continuously monitor & evaluate the market opportunities and build strong relationships with the clients. In cooperation with other Kuehne + Nagel business units, you will ensure we achieve high customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

Your Responsibilities

·  Business development of warehousing and production logistics business in Hungary
·  Develop, plan, present and initiate actions in order to define and drive business development 
·  Support and coordination of cross-divisional business development projects for other departments, including strategic planning, analysis and presentations
·  Identify new business development potential by screening the market and defining prospects
·  Prepare contracts, logistics solutions for customers
·  Close cooperation with other company entities in the region and worldwide
·  Build relationships with key contacts within customer organizations

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Degree in Business / Logistics / Economics or similar
·  Robust knowledge through proven experience in Warehousing
·  Strong communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
·  Proven track record of delivering successful projects
·  Excellent communications skills in Hungarian and English, German language is an advantage
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Office
·  Driving License
