ABOUT SAINT LAURENT
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

We are currently seeking a RTW Buyer who will report to Merchandising Manager as part of our dynamic team in Korea.

Job Description

ROLE

You will support and coordinate to manage merchandising of defiend categories for Korean market, prodvide support to the retail, in order to enhance sales, inventory turn, profitability and Brand imange.  

This position is a key to manage merchandising of defined categories for Korean market, making decisions on product offer along with network distribution and providing support to the retail, in order to enhance sales, inventory turn, profitability and Brand image. Responsible for the support of planning and directing the merchandising strategies and ensuring that product offer and price positioning are meeting customer demands and market situation whilst driving the business forward in the responsible merchandise category and network. This position is also responsible for monitoring sales performance, inventory levels and providing analysis and recommendations as needed.

MISSION

· 
Responsible for RTW: Women’s & Men’s, DOS & Outlet

· 
Responsible for merchandise: style selection, quantity decision, distribution, allocation schedule, stock management, replenishment order and product training

· 
Perform sales analysis including competitors analysis

· 
Manage pricing strategy and gross margin to secure profitability, in alignment with retail strategy and meeting local objectives and targets, keeping in line with market positioning. 

· 
Work closely with Operations, Marketing and Visual Merchandising in monitoring the implementation quality & overall effectiveness and sell-thru of merchandise

· 
Collaborate with regional Merchandising team in providing feedback on products, consumer trends & response

· 
Provide product knowledge training store on seasonal basis, communicate effectively and timely with the Operations manager and all stores to facilitate selling staff to do effective selling

PROFILE

· 
At least 3 years of relevant experience as merchandiser or buyer assistant in the fashion/luxury goods industry

· 
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

· 
Fluency in English
