We are currently seeking a Sustainable Material Intern who will work in the Material Innovation Lab (MIL) as part of our dynamic team in Novara

Job Description

Your opportunity  

 

You will be an integral part of the Material Innovation Lab (MIL). MIL is a shared service center for Kering Brands. As part of our team you will provide knowledge and technical support on sustainable materials (fabrics, fibers, leatherwear, fur and accessories) to the Brands. The scope of work includes creating an up to date collection of innovative and sustainable materials (the ‘library’), strategic support to integrate sustainable materials into products and technical support to define and identify sustainable materials. 

 

How you will contribute  

 

· 
Contribute to identify sustainable materials (including sources of sustainable raw materials) as appropriate to brands 

· 
Support the team to develop communication materials around sustainable materials and processes 

· 
Support the team to help brands with technical expertise and information on sustainable materials  

· 
Assist in the design and manage projects including ongoing monitoring and evaluation 

 

Who you are  

 

· 
A College or University graduate in business management, environmental science or sustainability  

· 
Knowledgeable of the latest fabric trends, developments and innovations  

· 
Curious about technical aspects  

· 
Organized and able to plan your work efficiently 

· 
An excellent communicator, cooperative and flexible one  

· 
Adaptable to a multicultural context 

· 
Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
