Job Description

The Kering Finance Shared Services department based in Berlin is currently seeking a Controller.   If you are passionate, curious and collaborative, come and join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Your opportunity  

 

Under the supervision of the Head of Finance Shared Services, you will support and manage a range of finance activities including but not limited to:  accounting, controlling and reporting, treasury, financial statement preparation, as well as project work.

 

 

How you will contribute 

 

·       Accounting

o   Supervision of the accounting requirements under forecast/budget

o   Preparation of the required monthly accruals under forecast/budget and fiscal considerations, including tax accruals

o   Supervision of compliance against statutory tax and IFRS reporting requirements

o   Monthly fixed assets accounting

 

·       Controlling and Reporting

o   Preparation of the monthly closing requirements

o   Supervision of intercompany reconciliations with all partners

o   Management of reporting packs requested by consolidation department

o   Cost analysis and monthly cost control

o   Budget and forecast preparation

o   Analysis during closing and forecast/budget preparation for deviation

o   Cost analysis and relevant arrangements, scenario preparation

 

·       Treasury

o   Bank accounting and reconciliation

o   Controlling of balances, cash flow preparation and analysis

o   Intercompany loans

 

·       Year End Closing and Taxes

o   Preparation of financial statements

o   Preparation of monthly VAT return and yearly tax declaration

o   Control of tax payments

 

·       Project Management and other activities

o   Contact person for audits – internal and external

o   Preparation of ad hoc reports – intercompany, consolidation, legal

o   All additional requirements and support for business partners (HR, Communication, Maintenance, Security etc)

o   Effective project management for Finance Shared Services projects

o   Support for tax consultant – preparation of corporate tax declaration

o   Maintenance and management of appropriate contracts e.g. leases

 

 

Who  you  are  

 

·       University degree qualified – Business Administration – Hochschule (Master,Diplom)

·       Minimum 3 years professional experience in Accounting / Controlling / Tax consulting

·       Experience and knowledge of SAP FICO, Power BI or other BI tools

·       Knowledge of IFRS

·       Strong analytical skills

·       Rigorous, with attention to detail and an improvement mindset

·       A good team player who is agile and inclusive

·       Proficiency in English and German – good verbal and written communication skills in both languages
