Full Time: 37.5 Hours a week. Shifts between 5am and 11pm. Flexible 2 week rota, working alternate weekends. Please state your availability on the application form.

Duties & Responsibilities
This role starts in May 2020 at our new Customer Fulfilment Centre in Enfield, which will process and deliver Waitrose & Partners online shopping orders across London. The address is 345 Southbury Road, Enfield EN1 1TW. The nearest train station is Southbury
This is the latest in a number of investments to accommodate the demand for online customer orders at Waitrose & Partners. We want to ensure that our customers can purchase our products easily and conveniently using the latest technology. We need Transport Partners who would love to ensure our customers get the kind of service they expect from Waitrose & Partners.
What's the role about?
As a Senior Transport Assistant with the Enfield Customer Fulfilment Centre your role will be to direct Partners in the team and prioritise their workloads appropriately to ensure all required tasks are completed. By carrying out compliance procedures and supporting the development of a safety culture, you will ensure that all administration relating to the dispatch operation, vehicle maintenance and transport administration are completed in accordance with current legislation.
Job Requirements
What you'll be doing
-Lead the Transport and Delivery Driver teams in delivering the day-to-day activities
-Managing Resource within the team by prioritisation, delegation and scheduling.
-Driver and vehicle inspection and compliance, paperwork administration.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications
What you'll have
-Supervisory or management experience
You will need a full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points - and you should be 18 years old or over.Part of the application process will include a licence check and a security check to confirm your suitability for the role.
Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

-Experience from a Customer Delivery Driver role and Highway Code knowledge
-Experience of working in a Transport environment
