37.5 hours per week on a 3 week rota

Week 1- 07:00-15:00
Week 2- 08:30-16:30
Week 3- 10:00-18:00

Bracknell based, may involve inclusion in the Branch out of hours escalation phone rota

Duties & Responsibilities

What's the role about?

You will be supporting the JLP commercial vehicle fleet by managing the repair, maintenance and spare vehicle provision in line with the Central Transport maintenance strategy. Ensuring the efficient management of an in-house and 3rd party national repair network. You will be required to make decisions on the best and most cost effective route for repairs whilst ensuring SLA and operator's license adherence and compliance.

Job Requirements

What you'll be doing

You will be responsible for call handling, cost control, controlling all repairs relating to maintenance, defect, accident repair,tyres, windscreens etc.
You will work to achieve performance KPIs
Supplier management
Efficient management of the spare vehicle fleet provision
You will undertake tasks and projects as directed by Fleet Maintenance Engineering Manager

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

What you'll have

NVQ 3 or equivalent experience in vehicle maintenance
Working knowledge of Excel and Word

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

What else could you bring

HNC, HND
Full UK driving licence
Knowledge of FMS systems (Kerridge or R2C)
Knowledge and understanding of vehicle refrigeration
Understanding of accident damage repairs and reporting systems
