Do you have a real love of food and would like to join our friendly catering team working as Kitchen Assistant at our Farm Shop?

What’s the role about?

The purpose of this role is to assist the chefs in basic food preparation and service. This is the ideal first time position for someone in the catering industry. You'll be involved with the preparation of food, managing stock and wastage. This is a role where you will receive ongoing training and there is scope to progress throughout the kitchen.

What you’ll be doing as a Kitchen Assistant

·  Preparing basic menu items
·  Assisting Head Chef and Second Chef in breakfast and lunch service
·  Following food hygiene and partnership guidelines in regards to food safety
·  Completing necessary daily and weekly paperwork to
·  Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
·  Working alongside front of house partners to keep a clean and tidy environment

What you’ll have

·  1 years kitchen experience
·  Level 2 Food Hygiene

What else can you bring?

·  Ability to create dishes from a seasonal range of ingredients
