Duties & Responsibilities

Our Industrial Placement Programme within the Analyst Customer Insight team will make you see retail in a new light. Our unique Partnership different and approach to business will enable you to get the most out of your placement year. Our placements combine hands on experience with real projects you will also receive relevant on the job training.

In your placement year you would support Divisions and the Partnership to achieve business goals and objectives through the design, delivery and interpretation of customer insight from customer behavioural & transactional data and other commercial information; by using both simple and advanced analytical techniques with the support of the manager and other analysts within the team.

Job Requirements

During your Industrial Placement year you will have a variety of accountabilities and projects, including:

Impact of Pricing Investment and how to optimise future changes
Development and Implementation of Category Strategy
Understanding impact of changes in MyW scheme
Supporting decision making around which products we should stock, what promotions we should run
Triggers for customer engagement and lapsing
Development of new retail propositions
Channel engagement reporting and insights
Post campaign analysis

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

The minimum application requirements are as follows:

As part of your degree, be able to take a year out in industry commencing July 2020

The assessment centre for this role will be held in November/early December 2019. The placement will start on Monday 6th July 2020.
