Salary

Pay in Range £9.43 to £12.60 This is negotiable dependent on relevant skills and experience. The pay rate for this role will increase from £9.70 to £12.60 from 1st April 2020

Full time to include a mix of early and late starts
Earliest start time: 07:00 and latest finish time 20:00

Duties & Responsibilities

At the John Lewis Partnership we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service. We'll rely on you to arm our catering Partners with the key skills they need to provide our customers with a great hospitality experience.

You'll do this by enhancing knowledge, inventing ways of delivering training and passing on your expertise of food preparation.

Job Requirements

You'll be passionate about service and food, showing desire and drive to continue to learn and develop, in order to better support your team.

Alongside coaching your Partners you'll support your Section Manager by being involved in administrative duties including ordering and ensuring that relevant food safety compliance has been adhered to.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Food Safety Level 1 (Must complete within first week)
Food Safety Level 2 (Must complete within 3 months)
Previous employment in a catering environment
Previous kitchen experience
Previous training / coaching experience

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

Food Safety Level 3
Customer facing selling or service environment
Administration
Computer literate
