About the Role

Do you like to shop? Well it’s slightly different than popping out to your local shops to grab the latest gadget or a fashion clothing item, as you’ll be in one of the teams within the EMEA Procurement Indirect or Direct teams. This means you will help to procure the goods, services and work required to support JLL supporting the day to day running of the business, or on behalf of the clients JLL supports within the property sector.

As part of a 12-month internship, you will be entrusted with real, individual technical and business projects to lead, own, and execute over the course of your placement with us.

You will be integrated into our Procurement team based in London and from your first day be responsible for delivering results to improve our business. If you have a strong dedication to lead, are eager to learn and interested in pursuing a career in supply chain management & procurement then this placement is for you.

You will be responsible for working alongside a team to assist with negotiating and contracting goods and services and delivering them in ways that guarantee quality and value to colleagues within JLL.

You will use market leading technology platforms to enhance and develop your skills.

You will be assigned a mentor to help with the following:

·  Gain practical advice and act as an advisor.
·  Learn from experience.
·  Increase social and academic confidence.
·  Become more empowered to make decisions.
·  Develop communication, study and personal skills.

We will provide all the technical training needed to be successful in the role and offer leading learning and development opportunities to allow you to excel.

At the end of the placement, successful interns may have the opportunity to secure a full-time position with JLL.

Qualifications:

We are looking for:

·  An individual who has left full time education and looking to start or further their career
·  Excellent demonstration with problem solving and leadership skills.
·  Evidence of passion drive and ambition.

You must be eligible to work in the UK for the entire duration of the 12-month placement.

What Can you Expect from JLL:

You will work with the EMEA Procurement team bases in London, gaining experience from a broad range of highly experienced peers. You’ll be offered a detailed induction and access to training courses to set you up for a career in JLL and EMEA Procurement. You will have a clear career path with great opportunities for development and promotion. After 12 months, you will also be eligible to work towards a CIPS professional qualification (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply).

You will receive a starting salary of £18,000 p.a. You will also have access to a number of additional benefits such as 25 days holiday, a competitive pension scheme and a number of flexible benefits.
