POSITION OVERVIEW

Do you have experience conducting research to compile market information and statistics to support pitch materials, publications and reports on the local commercial real estate market? Are you able to adapt and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment?

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Research Analyst to provide reliable, timely, efficient support to our Industrial brokerage team in Montreal (Ville St-Laurent Office). The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. This role provides a wide variety of support services to the brokerage teams and the successful candidate will be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and a team player attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Work with research and other team members to compile market information and statistics on the local commercial real estate market; conduct research and collect information materials on market fundamentals, ownership, tenants, and economic analysis
·  Conduct research at a designated level to support pitch materials, publications, reports and deliverables to the Local Practice Leader and/or applicable brokerage team; assist brokerage professionals through the completion of market surveys, data analysis, cash flow analysis, financial modelling and other deliverables
·  Contribute to the collection of and ensure the integrity of comparable data, new development information, and applicable information on city planning changes/issues; apply technical and analytical skills to disseminate market data and ensure data integrity
·  Responsible for utilizing the company’s geospatial mapping tool (“Blackbird”) in combination with other graphics tools including ESRI BAO, MapIT and Google Earth.
·  Contribute to designated local market research requests
·  Liaise regularly with other real estate professionals including developers, appraisers, landlords and brokers
·  Coordinate and manage daily, weekly and quarterly research tasks
·  Contribute to special initiatives, such as: annual/semi-annual publications, whitepapers, and quarterly reports
·  Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Post-secondary education in Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, Urban Economics, Urban Planning, or Urban Geography
·  Bilingual
·  Experience in the commercial real estate sector is an asset
·  Experience with geospatial tools is an asset
·  Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ArcGIS and related software, Google Earth
